The REAL Way To Measure Your Penis

By loveandsex

Penis size is something almost every guy worries about. They think that the longer (or shorter) it is equates to how much pleasure they can give a girl. Wrong! There’s actually a lot more to penis size than just how long or short it is – in fact, that has absolutely nothing to do with it – except for if you have a very long penis, you may end up causing more pain than pleasure. Here is the REAL way to measure your penis!

Width vs. Length

In reality, it’s not the length of a man’s penis that makes a difference to a girl – it’s the width. A very long penis isn’t going to be effective if it’s very thin, even if it’s a foot long. However, a short 4-5″ penis can give women waves of orgasms if it’s as thick as a soda can.

Why A Thick Penis Is So Much More Effective

 • Puts pressure on the nerve-packed vaginal opening
 • Gives a woman the sensation of fullness
 • Tugs on the labia and the clitoris giving pleasurable sensations
 • Puts pressure on all sides of the vagina
 • Stimulates the perineum

How To Use A Thick Penis To Your Advantage

If you have a thick penis size, you’re already a leg up on the competition so to speak. If you have a thick penis that is a little longer, good for you! However, if your penis is shorter, you can still use your thickness to your advantage.

 • Make sure you use plenty of lube. Without proper lubrication, a thick penis can be uncomfortable or painful!
 • Get her aroused first. This will make her vagina more elastic and will help her accommodate your thickness pleasurably.
 • Choose a larger condom so there is less constriction and more pleasure for you.
 • Go slow. Allow her time to get used to how big you are around.
 • Start by fingering her first. Start with one lubed finger and work your way up to two or three as you lick or rub her clitoris. This will help her become more aroused and help stretch her vagina to get it ready for you. Remember that women are designed to pass babies through there, so she can definitely accommodate you! She just needs a little (or a lot) of foreplay first!
 • Take your time with intercourse and allow her to fully feel every inch of you that she’s stretched around. The feeling of fullness combined with all the other benefits of a thick penis will bring her to a powerful, sheet soaking orgasm.

How To Help A Thin Penis

If you have a thinner penis, you’ve either already had trouble giving girls vaginal orgasms or you expect that you will in the future. It’s not the end of the world though – there are lots of ways to work with what you’ve got.

 • Consider using sex toys to your advantage. Many companies make a silicone or latex sleeve that fits over the penis and is designed to be used during penetration and intercourse. A sleeve will make you feel thicker to her, and the ribs and nubs can help give her higher concentrations of pleasure. The downside? Less sensation for you – which can actually be a plus if you have problems with premature ejaculations.
 • Thrust in circles. Move your hips in a somewhat circular motion so your penis comes into contact with all surfaces of her vaginal canal. This also helps give more friction to her clitoris.

Other Ways Of Giving Pleasure

If you struggle with giving your partner a vaginal or g-spot orgasm with your penis, don’t worry. There are so many different ways to give your partner sexual pleasure (and give yourself pleasure) that you can definitely continue to stay intimate and sexually connected with your partner without a vaginal orgasm.

 • Give her oral sex before penetration. This will either give her an orgasm before you get started, or make it more likely for her to have an orgasm while you are inside her. Or both!
 • Bring a vibrator to bed. A We-Vibe II is an excellent choice since it is made to slip inside the vagina and rest on the clitoris. Not only will the We-Vibe II make you feel bigger inside her, she’ll also get some much needed clitoral vibrations.
 • Finger her while you lick her clitoris. Even though your finger is slender, it can be angled in a “come hither” motion and put direct pressure on her g-spot. A g-spot and clitoral orgasm at the same time (called a blended orgasm) will rock her world so much it wouldn’t matter if you had a 2″ penis.

3 Must Have Sex Toys For Erectile Dysfunction!

By loveandsex

Erectile dysfunction doesn’t have to ruin your sex life. If you have problems getting and keeping an erection during sex or even during masturbation, you may feel like you’re never going to have great sex (or any sex) ever again. Nothing could be further from the truth! There are several things that can help you get a rock hard erection – and make it last long enough to give your girl wicked orgasms. Check out these three must-own sex toys that will help you last longer in bed!

A Cock Ring

A cock ring is an absolute must have sex toy if you experience erectile dysfunction at all. You definitely want one if ED is something you struggle with often, but don’t be afraid to get your hands on a decent cock ring even if you’ve only had one or two fluke ED episodes. You want to have it on hand in case you’re with a girl and it happens again, but you really don’t want to make a big deal about it. If you have a cock ring, you can put it on before your erection goes away and it will keep the blood trapped in the penis and keep it erect.

Soft jelly cock rings are most likely your best bet, because the metal ones can be difficult to get off. If your penis swells up when you have a metal cock ring on, you may not be able to get it off – and you’d have to go to the emergency room! You can also use a vibrating cock ring if your partner has trouble reaching orgasm through sexual intercourse alone.

A Penis Pump

If you have trouble getting an erection at all, a penis pump is going to be your best friend. A good penis pump will help pump the blood into your penis, making it erect. However, you will want to use a penis pump in conjunction with a cock ring, or the blood will just flow back out of the penis. Once you’ve used the pump, slip the cock ring on and it will keep your erection in place!

Never, ever use a vacuum cleaner as a penis pump! You could seriously hurt yourself this way. Always use a penis pump that has been manufactured with quality materials by a reputable company. If there is too much suction (like with a vacuum cleaner) you could cause the small blood vessels in the penis to break, causing bruising. This can be painful! Stick to making your purchase from a reputable company that has great feedback.

A Prostate Massager

Guys that don’t like anal play might freak out a little bit here, but try – just try – to keep an open mind. If erectile dysfunction really causes problems in your life and in your relationships, you might be a little more willing to try prostate massage. Some people refer to the prostate as the “male g-spot” and for good reason – this gland, when stimulated, can turn a man on, give him a rock hard erection and give him an orgasm in very quick succession. If you’ve never tried prostate stimulation but continue to struggle with ED, you may want to give it a go.

When selecting any anal toy, you want to start small and work your way up. You don’t want to grab the largest thing you see thinking that bigger is better – because when it comes to any type of anal sex, bigger is definitely NOT always better. A teeny tiny butt plug can actually do the job pretty well, and it’s a perfect way to get started.

As you become more experienced with prostate stimulation, you can graduate to larger toys – but you can stay small if you want to. The idea here is to use prostate stimulation as a way to achieve and maintain an erection, so go with what does the job the best. And of course, remember to use lube! You never, ever want to try to insert an anal toy (no matter how small it is) without adequate lube. At best it just won’t go in and at worst it will be very, very painful!

When To See The Doctor

If you’ve tried sex toys for erectile dysfunction and still struggle with it, it may be time to make an appointment with your doctor. ED can also be treated with medications and other types of therapy, and your doctor is the best person to recommend what is right for you. Talk with your doctor about possible underlying causes and what your options are!

What Is A Micropenis And Do I Have One?

By loveandsex

Penis size is something just about every guy worries about. In fact, most guys are obsessed with their penis size and worried that their genitals too small. Some men may be convinced that they have a micropenis – that is, a clinical condition where the genitals are much smaller than average. But what really makes a small penis a micropenis, and could you have one?

What Is A Micropenis?

A micropenis is a term that is usually used to describe a very small, or abnormally small penis. The average length of an adult man’s genitals when erect is about 5-6” and a micropenis is any shaft that is less than about 2.8” when erect. So basically, a micropenis is a penile shaft that is significantly smaller than the smallest average size.

What Causes It To Be That Small?

There are a few things that cause this condition, including abnormal testicular development in the womb and testosterone and other hormone deficiencies. If you do have a micropenis, it’s likely that you’re not going to discover this until you’re an adult – all these measurements are for an adult male, because the genitals are normally much smaller in boys.

How To REALLY Measure Your Penis

If you want to find out if your small genitals actually fall into the “micropenis” category, you’ll want to measure it correctly. Remember that most guys who have smaller genitals still don’t fit into the category of having a micropenis – because their genitals are small, but not less than 3″ or so. Here’s the real way to measure your penis:

 • Get your shaft as erect as you can. Make sure you’re really turned on and you’ve maximized your penis size.
 • Have a rule or tape measure on hand.
 • Place one end of the measuring device at the very base of your shaft, up against your groin.
 • Stretch out the tape measure or lay the ruler on your shaft and note where the tip of your penis is. This is your penis length.

If you do have small genitals, or even a micropenis, remember that it’s not all about length when it comes to pleasing a woman sexually and giving her an orgasm. It’s really the width that comes into play during intercourse, so even if you have a short shaft, if it is still fairly thick, you’re good to go.

Can A Micropenis Be Enlarged?

If you have very small genitals, you’re probably going to want look into some type of penis enlargement therapy to help you get a bigger member. Don’t take matters into your own hands though, especially if you’re considering a treatment that is invasive or risky. Consult your doctor beforehand about your options.

He or she can let you know what is available out there to help you get a larger erection, from natural ways like using a penis pump or possibly through surgical intervention. Your doctor can inform you about the risks involved with any type of enlargement therapy and suggest alternatives if some options aren’t right for you.

Don’t try to enlarge your genitals on your own with creams, pills or penis pumps because you may end up doing more harm than good. While creams, pills and pumps may be part of your treatment plan, having your doctor’s okay first will give you the confidence to know that you’re being safe and smart so you don’t end up hurting yourself.

Common Treatments For A Micropenis

Testosterone Therapy

Usually, testosterone therapy is tried first since it is considered the safest and least invasive way to treat extremely small genitals. A man on testosterone therapy to increase his size may take hormone supplements or use hormone creams, and this type of medication can be prescribed to infants in rare cases where the problem is noticed at a much younger age.

Testosterone therapy can also be used during puberty to help increase size, before the window for actual, true penis growth closes.

Surgical Procedures

Surgical procedures to enlarge the genitals are very rarely used, because it’s a risky treatment option and the length of the shaft doesn’t increase that much. A man undergoing surgical lengthening of the penile shaft may only gain a few centimeters, or an inch or so at most.

Penile implants may be an option if you’re just going for raw length, but there are caveats to any surgical procedure you might be considering. Talk with your doctor (or several doctors) about the right options for you – before you have anyone come near your genitals with a scalpel!

Can You Have Sex With A Micropenis?

The better question here is can a man lead a fully satisfying sex life with a micropenis, and the answer is yes! Actual vaginal penetration and intercourse can be difficult, especially if the shaft is really short. However, there are lots of ways you can experience satisfying, fulfilling sex with your partner without vaginal intercourse:

 • Give and receive oral sex
 • Finger her and allow her to give you a handjob
 • Bring sex toys in the bedroom and use them on each other
 • Try different sex positions – you may not be able to have intercourse in the missionary position (especially if you or your partner are bigger around the middle), but you may be able to have intercourse just fine in the doggy style position. Experiment and have fun!

Learning To Accept Yourself

If you have a micropenis – or just very small genitals – it’s easy to be down on yourself or wonder if you’re ever going to meet a woman who wants to be with you – or who can be sexually satisfied by you. Don’t worry so much about what women may think. Learn to accept yourself and love yourself for who you are and how you were made. If you have self confidence – and know how to please a woman orally or with sex toys – she’s not going to care about your size.

Penis Size – What About Vagina Size? Do Girls Have A Size Too?

By loveandsex

Sex is something every guy obsesses over – and the biggest obsession of all is how big their penis is. Guys know they’re not all the same down there, but is it the same for girls? Do women have a certain “vagina size” too? Are some women bigger down there than others? Here’s the lowdown on how what’s in a girl’s pants can be different from one woman to the next and how to handle it when it comes to having sex.

Question: My cousin masturbated with a toothbrush and she couldn’t get it all in – she only got 4 inches. It was like a wall was blocking it and when she pushed it. It didnt hurt but it wasnt pleasant either (this happened to me too). I’ve heard girls have a “size” too. Does this mean she’s extra small or is it that she’s a virgin?

If She’s A Virgin

If a woman is a virgin and has never had sex before, and even if she’s never inserted anything into her vagina before at all (including tampons or sex toys), her vagina is definitely going to be smaller than if she had participated in intercourse. Most virgins have a flap of skin inside the vaginal canal called the hymen, which will break when enough force is put behind penetration. Sometimes the hymen can break unexpectedly for no reason, such as during activities like horseback riding.

When something penetrates the vaginal canal and pushes up against the hymen, the hymen will resist and make it more difficult to push the object in. This will most often cause discomfort and even pain in some cases. If the hymen is broken, it can also cause light to moderate bleeding.

Once The Hymen Is Broken, Are All Vaginas The Same Size?

Just like penis size differs from man to man, the vagina size (both outside and in) can differ greatly from girl to girl. Just like no two people are the same and everyone is different in their height, weight, hair color and body type, their genitals are going to be different as well.

The vagina lays flat when there is nothing in it, and expands when a penis or object (such as a vibrator) is inserted inside. Some women are designed to accommodate objects that are thicker in width, while other women’s bodies can stretch to accommodate an object that is longer. However, this can change as a woman gets used to thicker and thicker (or longer and longer) objects.

For example, a woman who has had sex with a man that has a very big penis will be able to tolerate a larger object such as a large dildo or other sex toy, while a woman that has only been penetrated with small objects would not be able to tolerate something very large. Just remember that once stretched, not always stretched – the vagina can go back to its original shape over time.

When A Woman Has A Baby

A prime example of vagina size changing is when a woman gives birth. A baby is very large in comparison to how large a vagina is, but the vaginal canal and opening is made to stretch to accommodate a baby when it is born naturally.

While the vagina may tear or be cut when a woman gives birth, it generally goes back to the way it was before the baby was born, in both width and length.

How Genetics Come Into Play

How high the cervix is up inside a woman’s body is entirely dependent on genetics. This refers to the length of the vaginal canal, because the cervix is where the vagina stops and the uterus begins. Just like some women are shorter and taller than one another, their vaginas can be shorter or longer depending on the genes they were born with.

Sex Before Marriage?

Many religions suggest waiting until marriage to have sex and while that can be the right choice for many individuals, it does prevent the couple from figuring out whether their sexual anatomy is compatible with one another. For example, a woman may find out on her honeymoon right after they get married that her husband’s penis is eight inches long and her vagina will only fit four or five inches.

If you and your partner don’t fit together physically, it makes it nearly impossible to have a satisfying sex life. If you and your partner decide to take your genitals out for a “test drive” to see if you are sexually compatible, remember to make safe sex your priority.

How To Tighten The Vagina

Many women desire to tighten their vaginal canals to give their partner (and themselves) more pleasure during sex. Many women want to reduce the gap between their partner’s penis size and their vagina, creating a tighter fit and more friction during intercourse. Exercises that help tighten these muscles – called the PC muscles – are called kegel exercises and are performed by squeezing your PC muscles as though you were stopping the flow of urine. Repeat the squeezing over and over to strengthen the muscles and make the vagina tighter.

How To Stretch The Vagina

Experiment with sex toys of different sizes, starting small and working your way up. This is especially true if you’re new to sex, have never experienced a large penis size or just have a very small vagina. You can work with your vaginal muscles to stretch them out and make it more comfortable for you to be penetrated by larger and larger objects.

Remember when using sex toys or even while having sex to always use lube, especially if you’re experimenting with an object that is larger than you’ve ever tried using before. Lube will make everything go much smoother!

Is My Penis Too Big To Fit?

By loveandsex

Many men worry about having a penis that is too small to really pleasure their partner. On the other side of the spectrum, however, there are some men that have penises that may be so large that they end up hurting their partner. Vaginas are designed to stretch and accomodate a variety of penis sizes, however, what if he is just too big to fit?

A boyfriend’s penis might be too big for his girlfriend – even when she’s excited, he often ends up hurting her. What can he do to make sex more comfortable for her and more enjoyable for both of them?

A Medical Problem?

Most vaginas can accomodate a wide variety of penis sizes. Most vaginas can stretch to allow penises of just about any size to fit, regardless of how large or small. But some medical conditions can make a vagina unable to stretch and accomodate a large penis, including a medical condition called vaginismus. In some forms of vaginismus, the PC muscles actually clamp down, making penetration virtually or completely impossible. In other, more common, forms of vaginismus, the PC muscles tighten but don’t clamp down completely, allowing penile penetration but with pain, burning and a feeling of excessive tightness. Fortunately, vaginismus is highly treatable with vaginal dilators – a medical tool that is used at home to lightly stretch the PC muscles and allow the vagina to become more pliable. Click here to learn more about vaginismus.

Visit The Doctor

Some people aren’t physically compatible with each other sexually. Sometimes the puzzle pieces just don’t fit, and there are tons of ways to enjoy each other sexually and intimately if sexual intercourse is too painful. However, this is the rarest of cases. Often, medical problems or issues are at fault for painful sex. Infections, STD’s, pregnancy, and a multitude of other conditions are more likely to cause painful sex than just penis size and physical sexual incompatibility.

Go to the doctor – the doctor is a “body mechanic” and his or her job is to find out why your equipment isn’t working right. If you’re embarrassed to talk to the doctor about what is going on in your sex life, it’s time to find a new doctor. You should be comfortable talking to your doctor about everything. Your doctor can conduct tests that can tell you if an underlying medical problem is at fault for the painful sex you’ve been experiencing, or if it is just your anatomy.

Enjoy Each Other In Other Ways

Believe it or not, there are other ways to be sexual and intimate with your partner than through intercourse. Genital massage and oral sex are very popular, and some people enjoy anal sex instead of vaginal sex. Go to a sex therapist, or even visit an adult store (lots of online stores feature tons of products that you can shop for from the privacy of your own home) to find a few different things that you and your partner would like to try, and it’s a great way to get different ideas about positions, lubricants and male and female sexual stimulation.
